I have a kitty that has a chronic viral condition; this product was recommended by my veterinarian. I have seen a definite improvement in my cat’s overall health since I began supplementing his diet with this product earlier this year. Another one of my cats has always had loose stools from years of haphazard & ‘wild’ nutrition (he was an feral outdoor cat before I brought him inside). After a few months on this formula, his digestive system has thoroughly improved.
This product may seem very expensive but you add only a small amount once a day to the cat’s food. On average, one container last me about three months. As much as I love Amazon and come here first & foremost to purchase items such as this, I don’t understand why they are selling this product for ten dollars more than the cost listed at Vibrant Pets’ website. You do have to pay for shipping at that website but if you buy two at a time as I do, you will wind saving quite a bit. Vibrant Pets website also sells a formula for dogs, which I’m going to try for the first time.
Highly recommended, especially for those cat owners whose cats have some intestinal or digestive trouble.

My cat is old and for the last 6 months has lost about 40% of her body weight. She hadn’t played much at all recently and we thought that her time was comming to an end. We never heard of the Vibrant Pets Ultimate Formulas Frisky Feline before and thought we may as well try it. It has been about a month now of using it in her food and it has made a difference. She seems to have much more pep and energy. She is now doing something she hasn’t done in several years, jumping up on things. Although she still struggles to jump up, hip deteriation, she can now jump up onto chairs. She is eating more and of course going to the litter box more. We are very satisfied with this product and will continue using it.

Since using this product (since April, ’08), my 6 year old domestic long hair has been acting like he is a 1 year old. His energy has noticeably increased and he purrs non stop. The major improvement is that he used to throw up almost weekly–sometimes food, sometimes hairballs, sometimes both–now I can’t remember the last time he has puked. I purchased this Frisky Feline for my two cats after purchasing a comparable formula for my geriatric Boston Terrier. I blend a very small amount (about 1/4 a scoop) into their food twice a day. I can’t tell if it’s doing them worlds of good yet or not. To me, they’re the most affectionate and intelligent cats that ever walked the earth. I attribute this to the fact that I really pay attention to their attempts to communicate with me, and communicate they do, especially my male cat who is the “sharper” of the two. Both are very affectionate. To me, a formula such as this is a bit of an insurance that I’m doing the best I can to provide them with what they nutritionally need.
At first, they were a bit suspicious of this new stuff on their food and I thought I would have to return it. However, they now seem to accept it as long as I blend it in really good. I do think there has been a significant improvement to my female cat’s bowel movements — not runny, smelly and/or loose like they had been ever since I got her. She seems much calmer, relaxed, and self-assured.

SmartScoop No-Touch Waste Bags CustomerReview
I have owned a Littermaid automatic litter box and when it died (after 14 months) I decided to look at alternatives. The reason I didn’t want to get another Littermaid was because of the design. Sometimes my male cat would urinate over the back of the Littermaid and I’m pretty sure that’s what caused the unit to fail. I did some research on the internet and found that others had the same problem — urine would get into the electrical components. On the Smartscoop, all the electrical components are outside the litterbox, so unless my cat stands outside the litterbox and “hikes his leg to pee”, I doubt any urine is going to damage the unit.
Also, the Smartscoop is much easier to clean. Everything except the motor unit can be immersed in water. The entire unit comes apart easily. The only parts of the Littermaid you could put in water were the litter compartment and the rake. This made it hard to clean because the rake runs along a track which is on the inside of the frame — not the litter compartment. The track is so close to the litter compartment that moist litter would get stuck to it. No matter how hard I tried, I was never able to get the whole thing cleaned. Also, emptying the waste compartment on the Littermaid was a messy job. On the Smartscoop, it only takes a few seconds and there is no mess.
On the other hand, the Smartscoop does not do quite as good of a job scooping the litter, it does leave more waste behind than the Littermaid. Also, my cat tends to urinate at the rear of the litterbox in front of the rake. The rake does not sit flush against the rear of the unit so there is cat litter behind the rake thus causing a clump of litter to be stuck to the rake (that I have to scrape off). I think the makers of Smartscoop should make a few improvements such as putting more tines on the rake (spacing them closer together)and solving the problem with the litter behind the rake.
When I received the Smartscoop, the motor would not cycle automatically. I guess the sensor was defective. I called the people at “Our Pets” the makers of Smartscoop and they sent me a replacement motor within a few days. They also sent a toy for my cat with their apologies. It was refreshing to have such courteous, prompt service. A little additional information – the Smartscoop comes with a 1-year warranty – the Littermaid only comes with a 90-day warranty. A friend of mine bought a Littermaid and it died after 95 days.
All in all, I would recommend the Smartscoop. I only gave it 4 stars because of the 2 problems I mentioned above.

I have the SmartScoop kitty liter (not that great) and with that I use the No-Touch Waste Bags. I use it and trust that I don’t have to touch anything I don’t want to. It actually has a scent to it too

The Smart Scoop bags work well. I like them better than the Littermaid system. If you hook the loops over the tray handle, the end of the bag doesn’t slip off into the tray.

I thought that these bags, being tailored to the SmartScoop receptacle, would stay on well but they really don’t. They often slip a bit allowing litter to fall into the receptacle. However, they are long enough to cover the receptacle, which many normal bags aren’t. And I haven’t had one tear yet.

My mother was giving her dog pet-tabs (I tried to talk her out of this) because of digestive and food issues he has. I came across several articles about the finding of lead in pet-tabs vitamins. I was then able to convince her to go a better route.
I give my dog kidney supplements from Vetri-Science and am very happy with the quality, results, and company. Pet Naturals is the same company as Vetri-Science, so I knew it would be a good choice. My mom’s dog absolutely loves the taste of them. I even started giving them to my dog. I normally can’t give her anything with probiotics or digestive enzymes (both of these normally make her poop in the house during the day while I’m gone). Even though the Pet NAtural tablets contain digestive enzymes, I am able to successfully give them to her with no accidents. I split the dosage between morning, dinner, and night (I give her one and a half tablets). She was having terrible allergy problems with awful itching. When she does take them at the correct times (sometimes it can be an issue, because she is not a fan of anything flavored with liver), her itching is kept at a minimum. I may even try the senior supplements on her when I run out and need to purchase more.
I would definitely recommend these supplements to anybody searching for a good, safe vitamin for their dog.
